Maria’s specializes in working with children and adolescents. She helps children and families tackle issues such as depression, anxiety, social inadequacies, ADHD, fears, phobias, school issues, anger management, behavioral issues, relational issues, and low self-esteem. She can help your family find solutions that will work to make your family whole again.

Personal Approach:

I have over 20 years of experience in working with children and families in the areas of ADHD, Anxiety, ODD, OCD, and PDD. In addition to my practice, I worked full-time with children as a school social worker. Clients find me warm, easy to talk to, funny, and see me as a caring person. My specialized training helps individuals overcome some obstacles in their lives. The work is in helping individuals develop alternative problem-solving skills, to modify behaviors which have not been successful, and to understand and to alleviate stressors so one can live a happier life.

I utilize my experience to maximize successful outcomes. If you feel that your life is just not working, it may be the right time see if therapy helps. In most cases I will wait for insurance to reimburse me so that my clients do not have to pay out of pocket first.
